What you should know...

During Orientation and Homeownership Classes, participants learn to assess their readiness to purchase a home. Working in conjunction with our professional staff, volunteer instructors from the real estate and mortgage industries help prospective homebuyers to understand the meaning behind the jargon. They learn how to maneuver through what, to the unsuspecting, can be dangerous waters. Most importantly, they learn about resources available that can increase their purchasing power. After completion of the Orientation class, the next step is to attend the Homeownership class. A class schedule is posted on our calendar of events In our Newsletter. These 8 hour Homeownership classes have proven invaluable to all prospective first time homebuyers. For a small fee, NHSSV provides certification for those working with outside lending agencies.
